As the world says goodbye to iconic “Price Is Right” host (and Adam Sandler co-star) Bob Barker, one game show colleague has revealed the impact he had on her career. Vanna White, the legendary co-host of “Wheel Of Fortune,” admitted Barker helped kickstart her long tenure on the show.

 

“When I moved to LA in 1980, I was on ‘Price Is Right’ and met Bob Barker,” wrote White in a tribute. “Thank you Bob for introducing me to the game show world! We will miss you.” White’s tribute is the latest in a string of celebrities who shared messages about the beloved host and his long career. Bob Barker died over the weekend at the age of 99.
