Country singing legend Toby Keith died on Monday. He was 62.

According to a statement at his official website, Toby Keith was surrounded by family while he passed peacefully.

Eighteen months ago, Toby Keith informed followers that his stomach cancer treatments included chemotherapy, radiation and surgery.
