Just a day after Morgan Wallen was arrested on three counts of reckless endangerment and one of disorderly content after he allegedly pitched a chair from the rooftop of Eric Church‘s Chief’s bar in downtown Nashville, speculation is running rampant as to what caused his outburst. While one “source” told Page Six that Morgan was reacting to news that his ex-fiancée, K.T. Smith, had married Luke Scornavacco, another “insider” said it had nothing to do with the relationship. K.T. is also the mother of Morgan’s son, Indigo.

Whether that was the case or not, Morgan could still be facing some hefty consequences. Rither Alabre, a former New York prosecutor told Fox News that the singer could face up to six years in jail if convicted of the felony charges. If they had been misdemeanor charges, the sentence would have been reduced to just under a year. He also said that it seemed unlikely that charges would be completely dismissed.

In the past, Morgan has addressed his issues with fans directly through social media. We are still waiting for a comment.
