Excitement is building for the release of the movie Twisters, the follow-up to the 1996 classic starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. And with today’s release of the third song from the movie, Megan Moroney‘s “Never Left Me,” an equal amount of anticipation is building over the release of the movie’s soundtrack, Twisters: The Album.

Megan is a co-writer on “Never Left Me,” and in an Instagram post she says that her childhood home inspired the lyrics. This is the third song from Twisters: The Album, following Luke Combs‘ “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” and Bailey Zimmerman‘s “Hell or High Water,

The full album drops on July 19th, which is also the premiere date for the movie.
