The legendary ’90s country star John Michael Montgomery, who dominated the charts with multi-week number-ones like “I Love the Way You Love Me,” “I Swear” and “Sold (The Grundy County Auction),” has announced that he will step away from touring after his 2024 and 2025 commitments. In a post on Facebook, John reminded longtime fans that he started in the business when songs were sent to radio as either a vinyl 45 or cassette. 

John is the father of rising country artist Walker Montgomery and father-in-law to Travis Denning, who married his daughter, Madison.
