A Florida woman walked out of her Jacksonville home one morning last week and was stunned to find that her car had been destroyed, presumably by vandals. But before she could wave her fist and yell “those darn kids,” she reviewed her home’s security footage and was shocked to see what really happened.

Christie Barr of says her first thought upon seeing the damaged car was that “somebody had maybe taken a BB gun and shot my car.” But, the video footage showed that the vehicle was torn apart by a couple of dogs. It appears that the dogs had been chasing a cat which crawled behind the engine of her car and the dogs tried to get at it by chewing off large chunks of the vehicle. The damage they caused is estimated to be about $3000. It’s unknown if the dogs belong to somebody or if they are feral. (WSVN-TV)
