FIDO FRIDAY: MOCHA AND TULIP

Meet Mocha and Tulip! Mocha is a mama dog that was rescued from the dog warden when she was pregnant. She started giving birth the next day, and had to have an emergency c-section. The eight puppies came out okay and everyone is doing well. Mocha is a 1-1/2- year-old Brindle mix, and the puppies are up for foster-to-adopt as well.

Tulip is about a 1-year-old cat that was brought to Deb’s Dogs with a badly-injured rear leg, so she had to have it amputated. Tulip is doing great since her surgery, and she’s doing really well. She loves people and is looking for a home.

Deb’s Dogs is a non profit 501-c-3 organization. They depend on donations and adoption fees to fund their animals’ vet care. Most of the dogs that come into their care from The Allen County Dog Warden Facility. Usually the dogs they take in from the shelter are the ones that need extra attention. The animals may have been neglected, abused or injured. Once Deb’s Dogs takes the dogs they go to the vet for a complete checkup. If they are healthy enough at this time they are vaccinated and spayed or neutered. Sometimes they have to wait awhile for this due to the condition of the animal. To contact Deb’s Dogs call 419-204-6157.
