FIDO FRIDAY: ADOPT “PIERCE”

Meet Pierce! Pierce is a roughly 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix, weighing about 5 pounds. Pierce was found running around town, very skinny, cold, and scared. Deb and her volunteers captured Pierce with a humane trap, and now he’s thrilled to be back and healthy. Pierce gets along great with people, cats, and other dogs. Deb can see Pierce living with one other dog, but maybe not more than that.

Deb’s Dogs is a non profit 501-c-3 organization. They depend on donations and adoption fees to fund their animals’ vet care. Most of the dogs that come into their care from The Allen County Dog Warden Facility. Usually the dogs they take in from the shelter are the ones that need extra attention. The animals may have been neglected, abused or injured. Once Deb’s Dogs takes the dogs they go to the vet for a complete checkup. If they are healthy enough at this time they are vaccinated and spayed or neutered. Sometimes they have to wait awhile for this due to the condition of the animal. To contact Deb’s Dogs call 419-204-6157.
