Meet Braxton! Braxton is an approximately 7-month-old Pit Bull mix. When he was rescued he had the puppy “strangles.” Learn more about puppy strangles HERE. It took a lot of love and vetting to bring him back to full health. Braxton is a wonderful dog and he can sit, shake, he’s house-trained, and he’s great with people and other dogs.

Deb’s Dogs is a non profit 501-c-3 organization. They depend on donations and adoption fees to fund their animals’ vet care. Most of the dogs that come into their care from The Allen County Dog Warden Facility. Usually the dogs they take in from the shelter are the ones that need extra attention. The animals may have been neglected, abused or injured. Once Deb’s Dogs takes the dogs they go to the vet for a complete checkup. If they are healthy enough at this time they are vaccinated and spayed or neutered. Sometimes they have to wait awhile for this due to the condition of the animal.
