Meet Addie! Addie was found on the Allen-Hardin County line and was rescued by Deb’s Dogs after searching for an owner. Addie was a bit thin when found, but now has put some weight back on, is healthy, and is ready for a home. Addie loves attention, and isn’t great with cats, so a home where Addie can take the spotlight is best. Addie is a sweet dog who gets along great with people.
Deb’s Dogs is a non profit 501-c-3 organization. They depend on donations and adoption fees to fund their animals’ vet care. Most of the dogs that come into their care from The Allen County Dog Warden Facility. Usually the dogs they take in from the shelter are the ones that need extra attention. The animals may have been neglected, abused or injured. Once Deb’s Dogs takes the dogs they go to the vet for a complete checkup. If they are healthy enough at this time they are vaccinated and spayed or neutered. Sometimes they have to wait awhile for this due to the condition of the animal.
