November 8, 2022– Downtown Lima, Inc. welcomes the community to a new tradition, Lights on Lima, on Friday, November 25, from 4pm to 6pm in the Town Square.
“Each year, Downtown Lima, Inc. is responsible for the holiday décor downtown, so we were happy to step in to create a new event to allow our community to gather around the Christmas Tree and celebrate the start of the holiday season,” said Betsy Billingsley, Executive Director of Downtown Lima, Inc. “Santa’s magic is all we need to light the downtown tree!”
The Lima Fire Department hangs the annual tree downtown each year and Lights on Lima will bring the tree to life. The event is currently being planned with help from the City of Lima, Woof Boom Radio, ArtSpace/Lima and other community partners.
