Fans were freaked out when Britney Spears posted a video of herself dancing while holding large kitchen knives — and so were California authorities.

TMZ reports that deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department went  to Britney’s house to check on her. She was on the premises when they arrived, and reportedly showed no signs of being in danger, so they left without incident.

A source tells the site that the cops received a number of calls suggesting they check in on Britney, including one from someone close enough to have made a previous welfare check on the star themselves. Cops performed a similar welfare check back in January when Brit went radio silent on social media
