An otter caused chaos at a Washington state marina, chasing a mother and her young children after allegedly nearly drowning one of the kids. New video shows the otter aggressively coming after the family as they try to escape down the dock.

The incident occurred on September 12 at the Bremerton Marina in Seattle. Moments earlier, the otter had reportedly dragged the woman’s young son off the dock and into the water, nearly drowning him. The child was taken to the hospital to be treated for bites and scratches. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife later trapped and euthanized an otter in the area, which was then tested for rabies.
