A Tennessee woman received a bizarre email from her housing development’s HOA (homeowner’s association) informing her that she was being fined $100 for leaving an offensive image in the parking lot.
Having absolutely no clue what the HOA was referring to, she asked for more specific information. She then received a photo that a neighbor had taken of her parking spot after she had pulled out of it. A very light snow had blanketed the lot before she left, so there was a portion of asphalt left uncovered and it appeared to resemble the shape of a penis.
The email read, “Your car, specifically the Honda, left this offensive image on the ground after you left. I believe you will see why we have had complaints about it. One of our residents took the photo and reported it to us out of concern for our younger residents.”
The woman replied that the shape was not left intentionally and argued that it was an act of God. Ultimately, the HOA backed off and told her they would no longer pursue the fine. (Jalopnik)
