A wily British man decided to beat a local COVID-19 lockdown order by beating around the bush — and wrapping himself in trimmings from a bush as a disguise.

Nicholas Murray and Madeline Mai-Davies, a young couple from Stevenage, England, say they spotted a neighbor going green and thought fast enough to capture the stunt on camera. The video follows the person in disguise, scurrying down the street, then returning to their home with a grocery bag in hand.

Murray wrote, “Got his shopping. Turning up to the party while on lockdown.” (New York Post)
