Pat Sajak Almost Loses It

Fans think Pat Sajak may have been in a mood during last Wednesday’s episode of “Wheel Of Fortune.” The longtime host himself admitted he “finally snapped” during the episode after scolding an “ungrateful” contestant who had just solved a puzzle.

Here’s what happened: contestant Darin McBain – whose mother was actually a three-day “Wheel” champion in 1982 – had to guess four expressions beginning with the word “kitchen,” correctly guessing “cabinet, towels, oven, sink.” But he, like many watching from home, thought there was something funny about the term “kitchen oven,” saying after his win, “who call it a ‘kitchen oven?”

Sajak’s response was to scold – playfully, of course, McBain for being “ungrateful” after getting the puzzle right. “Don’t argue Darin! Ungrateful players, I’ve had it!” he snapped, before apologizing. “I’m sorry I yelled at you Darin, I just don’t remember your mother giving us trouble like you did.”
