Miranda Lambert posted a photo on social media posed alongside Joe Exotic — the man featured in the Netflix docuseries Tiger King. 

Fans got riled up that Miranda, an animal lover, would post a photo with an accused animal abuser. She explained that he was a volunteer when she rescued animals after Hurricane Harvey in Texas. At the time she didn’t know who he was.
