Lady A are one of many country acts who lend their time and effort to raising awareness and money for cancer research. For Hillary Scott, it’s more than just the right thing to do.
Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott explains their commitment to raising awareness and money for cancer research: “I lost my grandfather to leukemia several years ago now, I’ve had other really close friends have loved ones pass of the same type of leukemia. We just lost one of our dearest friends to the most rapid brain cancer. So, anything we can do, that’s really where my heart is to move towards curing this awful disease.”

As parents ourselves, being an ambassador for @StJude over the years has been one of the most gratifying experiences we've had in our career. We've been all around the country and have seen firsthand the important impact St. Jude has on children and families and the heartfelt community they've created. Receiving the Angels Among Us award is one of the highest honors and are so thankful to contribute even a tiny part in the amazing efforts made by St. Jude.
