Kelsea Ballerini crossed a big item off of her bucket list Tuesday night — she became a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
Kelsea met her first goal four years ago when she made her Opry debut.
Kelsea says, “Every time they ask me ask me I have to come play here. And then I added to my bucket list that one day I want to be a member. I didn’t think it would be four years later. I thought it would be like 42. So it’s pretty crazy.”
Carrie Underwood had the honor of inducting Kelsea into the Opry. “I wouldn’t know what it looks like to be a female in country music. She’s the one for me. I’ve always looked up to, not only her music, but I think she has the kindest heart. I think she’s so poised. And she has grace. I always wanted to follow in those footsteps.”
