Meet Buddy! Buddy is a two or three-year-old Scottie Terrier mix who was abandoned by his owners. The owners moved away and left Buddy behind. Buddy was seen running around and waiting for his owners to return, but they aren’t coming back. Neighbors then took Buddy to Deb’s Dogs and now he’s looking for a new home.
Deb’s Dogs is a non profit 501-c-3 organization. They depend on donations and adoption fees to fund their animals’ vet care. Most of the dogs that come into their care from The Allen County Dog Warden Facility. Usually the dogs they take in from the shelter are the ones that need extra attention. The animals may have been neglected, abused or injured. Once Deb’s Dogs takes the dogs they go to the vet for a complete checkup. If they are healthy enough at this time they are vaccinated and spayed or neutered. Sometimes they have to wait awhile for this due to the condition of the animal. To contact Deb’s Dogs call 419-204-6157.
