Meryl Streep, Emma Stone, Reese Witherspoon and hundreds of other women in Hollywood have joined forces for Time’s Up, an initiative aimed at fighting sexual harassment and assault in the workplace.
The movement was announced on Monday with a full-page ad in the New York Times and the Spanish-language paper La Opinion. The letter reads, “We want all survivors of sexual harassment, everywhere, to be heard, to be believed, and to know that accountability is possible.”
The women have also launched a legal defense fund to support victims. Donations are being accepted via GoFundMe. More than $13 million has already been raised, thanks to big donations from Meryl Streep, Taylor Swift and Steven Spielberg.
Other women who are supporting the cause include Ashley Judd, Eva Longoria, America Ferrera, Natalie Portman, Rashida Jones and Jennifer Lawrence. (E! News)
