If you haven’t made it out to an Eric Church show this year, you might be in the minority. The North Carolina native whose single “Some of It” is nearing the top of the country singles chart is also representing country music on Pollstar‘s mid-year list of the most lucrative tours.
Eric is the first country artist to appear on both lists. According to the live music publication, he is averaging a $46.4-million gross per show, which makes him number-10 on the North American tour list and number-12 on the worldwide list.
Garth Brooks is the second artist to appear on the list, and George Strait, who retired from conventional touring, comes in third. Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, and Luke Combs also appear on the list.
Pop icon PInk takes the number-one seat, grossing $81.8-million per show. Interestingly, her average ticket price is $142.71, where Eric’s is $94.86 and Garth gets $89. Also noteworthy is that she came in number-one after 35 shows in 39 cities. George is at number-20 after three shows in five cities.
