Dolly Parton and Jimmy Fallon will sing together at this year’s Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting.
On Today with Hoda and Jenna, Jimmy talks about getting the call from Dolly’s people to sing “All I Want for Christmas” — which isn’t a surprise since they recorded it together on Dolly’s A Holly Dolly Christmas album.
Jimmy Fallon thought he was singing a different song with Dolly Parton. “I got that (sings) ‘All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth,’ I got that. Two weeks before we record it, I get this call where it’s ‘All I Want for Christmas is You.’ Mariah Carey. The Mariah Carey song. I said, ‘Oh no, we have a big problem. A big problem.”
