A dog who lives in the Channel Islands in England has learned how to load the dishwasher.

The helpful pet – named Yari – picks up dishes and containers with teeth and then places the items on the dishwasher rack. He then goes further, nudging the dishes into place with his nose.

And, sure enough … When the dishwasher rack is filled, he closes the dishwasher door with his head.

Yari’s owner admits it took daily training to get Yari to help out in this way, but the process wasn’t overwhelming – just 20 minutes of practice for the basic stuff, and then up to 40 minutes per day for the more complex chores. (Daily Mail)
