David Arquette is retiring from the wrestling ring.
The 48-year-old nearly died in a deathmatch not too long and has suffered many injuries over the years — and now, he tells TMZ Live he’s done with the sport — much to the joy of his daughter Coco.
David actually began in 2000 when he won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. He recently made a comeback, but it wasn’t without a few visits to the hospital. He even had surgery after getting a severe cut to the neck.
A documentary on his wrestling career, You Cannot Kill David Arquette, hits streaming services tomorrow (Friday). He calls it a “love letter to wrestling.”
