Anne Heche was involved in a horrific single-car accident just after noon on Friday in the Mar Vista area of Los Angeles. Witnesses say she crashed the blue Mini Cooper she was driving into the garage of an apartment complex but backed out and sped off when residents of the complex tried to get her out of the vehicle. Shortly after she sped off, she crashed into a nearby home that started a significant fire that engulfed the house.Heche was reportedly badly burned in the accident and could be seen flailing on a stretcher as rescue personnel loaded her into an ambulance. It took almost 60 firefighters more than an hour to put the fire out and rescue Heche from the car.She’s still in critical condition, but her ex-boyfriend Thomas Janesays she’s expected to make it and told the press that “My thoughts and prayers are with Anne, one of the true talents of her generation.”Source: TMZ
