One of the largest diamonds ever has been found in Lesotho, a mountainous kingdom in southern Africa.
A company called Gem Diamonds Ltd. discovered the 910-carat diamond, which is reportedly the size of two golf balls, in its Letseng mine. It’s the fifth largest diamond ever discovered.
Other stunning diamonds have been discovered at the same mine, which has the highest average selling price for diamonds around the globe. In 2015, Gem got $19.3 million for a 357-carat diamond.
