An Ohio woman probably wishes she could rewind her decision to stick up a DVD store — so she could skip the scene where she revealed her real phone number in the middle of the heist.
Denise Myles strolled into a Family Video location on Tuesday afternoon and tooled around while deciding on a rental DVD. Once she’d made her choice, she walked up to the counter and handed it to the clerk, who asked her for a phone number so he could look up her account.
Myles gave the employee her real number, but instead of handing over her payment, she placed her hand inside her sweatshirt and demanded the worker hand over all the money in the cash register. The clerk complied, and Myles ran out of the store with the cash, leaving the DVD — and her phone number — behind.
