Leroy Solis Jr. recently graduated from MacArthur High School in San Antonio, but he almost wasn’t allowed to walk across the stage to accept his diploma. Thankfully, he ran into a complete and total stranger with a kind heart and a pair of pants.
Leroy was about to line up with his classmates when the principal told him he couldn’t walk on stage because he was wearing jeans under his graduation gown. The school had a no jeans policy, but Leroy had no choice because his father couldn’t afford to buy him new pants.
So with only about three minutes before the class was set to line up, a desperate Leroy ran into the parking lot looking for someone he might know with an extra pair of pants.
Miraculously, he ran into a man his height and size and mentioned his dilemma. He did not know this man, but the kind stranger wanted to help. He told Leroy he could borrow his pants, since they’re about the same size.
With no other options, Leroy got in the back of the man’s truck and the two exchanged pants. The man then told Leroy to run to the stage, which he did, and received his diploma.
Leroy is now trying to find the man so he could properly thank him.
