Scotty McCreery‘s new single, “Five More Minutes,” has been a fan favorite in concert for almost a year.
He wrote the song with Frank Rogers and Monty Criswell more than two years ago — not long after his grandfather died.
Scotty McCreery talks about his new single: “It was just a couple of weeks after I lost my granddaddy and we were talking about how you lose somebody and just wish you kinda had another day and you wish you could have said this. And I had a few things I would have liked to have told my granddaddy.”
The video of him singing it on the Grand Ole Opry got over two-million views.
