RaeLynn says she was harassed by an American Airlines flight attendant over her service dog, Jazz, while flying to a Diabetes conference.
Raelynn is a Type 1 Diabetic and Jazz alerts her when her blood sugar levels are off. She says the problem started right before take off when the flight attendant asked her to stow the dog under the seat, which she did.
She tells Taste of Country, “I did my best to keep [Jazz] there but the flight attendant continued to come to me telling me that I wasn’t being compliant. I probably heard that word 5,000 times. She then accused Jazz of not being trained and not being a service dog, which obviously is not true. The flight attendant was being extremely disrespectful. She talked extremely loud and it was such a small plane.”
FOX News reached out to the airline, which issued a statement. It says in part, “We’re sorry that RaeLynn had a bad travel experience with us. Our team is working to gather more information and facts, and our customer relations team has reached out to her directly.”
