A Florida Man is behind bars with a $51,000 bond after driving his car at news reporters on his lawn.
Walter Crappse, 21, of Cape Coral, FL was charged with criminal mischief, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, after driving his car directly at two news reporters from WINK-TV in Ft. Myers, FL.
Crappse’s mother, Janet, was arrested Thursday after she reportedly slapped, and picked up and dropped a child at a day care center.
Walter Crappse became angry when WINK-TV reporters Nicole Valdes and Channing Frampton showed up to their residence to get their side of the story.
Crappse shouted “Get that camera off my house, or I will hit you with my (expletive deleted) car…” before clipping Valdes and missing Frampton by inches.
