Check out Florida Georgia Line‘s “God, Your Mama, and Me,” featuring the Backstreet Boys.
Background: Written by three of Nashville’s biggest hit-makers, Josh Kear, Hillary Lindsey, and Gordie Sampson, “God, Your Mama, and Me” is the third single off FGL’s Dig Your Roots album. When Tyler and Brian heard the tune for the first time, they immediately thought it sounded like a modern-day Backstreet Boys song. The two reached out to their friend Nick Carter and a few days later, the ’90s boy-band laid down vocals on the track.
Going On Now: The boys of FGL have been taking the past few weeks off work. Tyler took the time to relax in Hawaii. Earlier this month, they teased their “God, Your Mama, and Me” video shoot on Instagram. It looks like it was shot on a beach!
What’s Next: FGL head out on the 2017 leg of the Dig Your Roots tour next month. Dustin Lynch and Chris Lane will join the duo on the road.
