Hey, it’s Garrett, and I’m definitely not a movie critic.
A few weeks ago, I signed up for MoviePass. It was $7.95 a month, and I get to see one movie per day. There are some restrictions, but for the most part, it’s super simple. You use an app, you check in to the movie you want to see once you’re at the theatre, and your special MoviePass Mastercard gets loaded with enough money to buy your ticket. MoviePass is accepted at the Regal Cinemas in Lima, as well as movie theatres in Celina, and New Bremen.
So Wednesday, I went to see Game Night. I realize it’s been out for a while, but my wife works late on Wednesdays, and it was at a perfect time for me to go see it before she got home.
It stars Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams as a married couple who love game nights with their friends. However, Bateman’s character has always been upstaged by his older brother.
What ensues is a funny and clever movie that I enjoyed. Is it totally believable? Of course not! But it was funny and definitely a date night movie. There are twists that you don’t see coming. It’s a fun little movie.
If I had to rate it on a scale of one to ten, I’d give it a 7.4.
I’m hoping to see one movie a week (or so), and will post my “reviews” after each one.
But remember, I’m definitely not a movie critic.
