In Rhode Island, Richard Wallace grew a 2,261.5-pound pumpkin, setting the North American giant pumpkin record.
The record is even more special to Richard because he beat the record, 2,230 pounds, previously held by his son Ron – which was set just last year.
Unfortunately, Ron was the pumpkin king for one year, which means he had just 12 months to brag to his dad.
And now, Ron’s going to be stuck listening to his dad talk trash for a year. Or, maybe longer. (Washington Post)
