While promoting her new film in Cambodia, Angelina Jolie and her kids dined on some strange local cuisine: bugs.
“It’s actually really good, the flavor,” the actress says in a BBC video while eating the wiggly critters. “It’s hard to chew, the scorpion.”
During the segment, Angie also shows twins Knox and Vivienne how to cook spiders, explaining that you have to take the fangs out.
The actress has directed her passion project First They Killed My Father, a true-life story of the Khmer Rouge genocide through the eyes of a child. The Netflix movie had its world premiere Saturday, where Angie opened up about her split with Brad Pitt. She said, “It was very difficult. Many people find themselves in this situation. My whole family have all been through a difficult time. My focus is my children, our children.” She added, “We are and forever will be a family and so that is how I am coping. I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer.”
